Important information

• Please note that we may use smoke / haze machines, strobe lighting, lasers and UV lighting in our productions.
• If you need to bring a pram or stroller to the production, please see an usher and they will place it backstage for you. Pram's (even if folded-up) and other devices or articles cannot be placed in the auditorium stairways or walkways. It is illegal to do so as is a safety hazard for other patrons in the case of an emergency. Please note that show will not begin until the stairways are clear of obstructions and the audience environment is declared safe by the Front of House Manager.
• Smoking is not permitted in the auditorium and surrounding indoor areas.
• Please switch off (or silence) your mobile phone during the production.
• Video recording and flash photography is not permitted at the venue.
• Show program's will be on sale at the venue, on the day.

 

Concert Locations

Our Concert Productions & Rehearsals are held at the end of each year, at the University of Queensland's Schonell Theatre. For more information, please feel free to view the University of Queensland theatre map.

 

Ticket Sales

Information about ticket prices and on-sale dates will be available in September or October.

 

Hungry? Thirsty?

The Schonell Theatre's Candy Bar will be open during shows, as will be the Pizza Caffe (click to see opening times & menu). As the Pizza Caffe makes pizza's fresh for you when you order, they can take up to 20 minutes during busy sessions. Ordering in advance (i.e.: order when you arrive, eat at interval) may be a wise idea. The interval is approximately 20 minutes long.

Indoor and outdoor seating is available in and around Schonell Theatre. Vending machines, ATM's and public telephones can be found in various different places around the University of Queensland Campus. Undercover parking is available at the UQ Centre (the multipurpose hall - next to the Schonell Theatre).

 

Concert DVDs

DVD's are available for pre-order around the same time that tickets go on sale, and are usually ready for dispatch early the following year. Please note that VHS video's of the concert are no longer being produced.
